While some of the farmers unions from Punjab & Haryana are politically affiliated, since September, when they launched their stir, they have steadfastly kept politicians out.
Modi-Shah BJP has tended to patronise Punjab & Sikhs, instead of being a respectful partner. Its strategy to tackle protests farm laws crisis has given Sikhs the good fight they love.

Indian govt officials last month skipped Turkish National Day celebrations in Delhi, in a message to Ankara following its support for Islamabad, particularly during Operation Sindoor.
Bihar is blessed with a land more fertile for revolutions than any in India. Why has it fallen so far behind then? Constant obsession with politics is at the root of its destruction.
I am of the view, this protest is political. This may not be benefiting a party but it is aimed against “Government of India”. What makes me think like that :
1. Template of not involving politicians to paint as a genuine protest comes from Shaheen Baug
2. Blocking main roads troubling citizens is a new idea, same as Shaheen Baugh. It is clear that the protestors are not yielding for a peaceful protest site where it will not impact citizens/ movement of goods etc.
3. There is silent support of AAP and Congress without their key leaders joining while supporting in MSM
4. When you go close to security agencies, do not expect to be treated with bouquet but such images is fodder for “naxals” to say government is cruel and blah blah. One must know occupational risk of being close to riot police.
All in all the design in to disrupt and not debate. What agitators are demanding is disruption and not debate.
