Coronavirus or Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. It is a viral disease that turned into a pandemic in early 2020. The first known case was recorded in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. Coronavirus has multiple variants such as Delta and Omicron, and its most common symptoms are fever, chills and sore throat.
He may be honest, but he has already enjoyed power for three consecutive terms. This is now his fourth term. This is against healthy democratic norms. Remember George Washington? He refused power after two terms and thereby set a norm in USA for only two terms. No political leader can be so great to continue in power indefinitely. Nehru ruled the country for three terms from 1947 to 1962. Even thereafter he contested for fourth term and won handsomely. What happened? He suffered the sad ignominy of a defeat in Chinese aggression of India. That he ignored India’s defense preparedness has been indelibly recorded in pages of history. Had he transferred power to a suitable successor in 1962, all this could have been avoided. Shastri was no match for Nehru, but he did well in 1965. We don’t want Putin, Xi Jinping, Mugabe, Gaddafi, Hugo Chavez’, Mao and Stalin in India. All these leaders , though extremely popular initially, corrupted their respected countries due to their long tenures.
