The government is using these terms “evidence based” a lot recently, but I don’t think they understand them.
Evidence based does not mean you forget about negative studies and only remember positive studies.
They never admit that anything ancient does not work.
Their concept of science is to rationalize pseudoscience, not validate. So positive gets stated and negative gets ignored. That is not science.
Also, please don’t do Yoga in camps like in the photo in the outbreak. That distance is nice but not foolproof. The cloth masks don’t filter viruses. They do stop your own droplets to some degree. Stay home and do your Yoga or whatever exercises at home, not in groups. Don’t take unnecessary chances.

Evidence is not neutral. There is a research question. That is either disproven or not disproven. Studies have either a yes or a no outcome, not both, they are not neutral.
What negative outcome studies on Yoga and meditation did the government ever take into account?
It is the same case with the rest of AYUSH.
Studies on Homeopathy are decisively No – No as in, No it does not work. Government ignores those, even from top journals. Our government is mostly political, it is not scientific.

Article says “coronavirus killed over 7000 people in India so far”. It should be corrected to “infected over 7000……”.
Hey, it hasn’t “killed 7000 people in India”….thankfully, and despite the fudged figures and mumbo-jumbo, fatalities have been few.
