Amit Shah is wrong because once Uma Bharti called Modiji as Vinash Purush still she was accepted in BJP and even made minister. So in politics any thing can happen in case of need. Did any one thought BSP and SP will ever join hands and after Guest house episode Mulayam Singh ji and Mayawati will ever share stage. DMK politicians, TDP chief N Chandra Babu Naidu, and many heads of small parties have to make all compromises since they wish to enjoy privileges of those in power. 2. We know that the grand old politician of Maharashtra, Sharad Pawar, had taken a political stand against Ms Sonia Gandhi once. But good sense prevailed and he realized his mistake. Also, he could not afford to be away from seat of power for long. Then his party, NCP, joined UPA. Thus no principled politics was involved; only simple personal greed. As a consequence, Sharad Pawar and one of his NCP colleagues enjoyed all privileges of ministers during ten years UPA rule. My point is that Ram Vilas Paswan and these politicians like Sharad Pawar belong to same category of opportunistic politicians, notwithstanding their clout in their respective States.
It’s very naive of this columnist to believe so. Ram Vilas Paswan resigned from the Vajpeyi government over the Gujarat carnage. Did that burn any bridges for him, to walk back into Modi’s embrace? Paswan’s eyes are laser-guided to the buttered side of any toast!
