Overall, the issue is simple- any structure built by or anything associated with a foreign ruler in India is a potential case for demolition, name change etc. and the collateral issues are to be managed in a civic way. Faith or ethnicity of such ruler is immaterial.
If this thesis is accepted, North and South Block, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House should be demolished, the CPWD should be tasked with drawing up plans for proper sarkari construction, awarded to L 1.
I said “potential case for demolition” and for not “fit case for demolition”!! The structures mentioned above are well accepted and indianized (read hinduized, if you so wish) since long.!!
