Her consistent efforts at misleading the simple workers finally succeeded and they launched massive coordinated protests. This resulted in the greenfield airport project getting shelved.
No wonder Ms. Dev finds a guru in Ms. Mamata Banerjee. She emulated her guru very beautifully thereby denying the people of Barak Valley the opportunity to have a full fledged civilian airport.
