Fascinating! We think of solar energy or nuclear energy for propelling an object, because that’s all we know. After all, the need to propel arises because the object must exert or work to get AWAY FROM EARTH’S GRAVITY. We take it as a given that gravity is a hopeless thing, that we cannot do anything to alter it’s presence. But uncle Einstein has told us that the fundamental thing is not gravity, but the curvature of space-time manifold. Think of it like a heavy ball placed on a mattress. The ball produces a dent or curvature in the mattress, so smaller tennis balls placed anywhere on the mattress will move towards the heavy ball. So the mattress’s curvature is making the tennis balls move towards the heavy ball sitting out there, and we mistakenly think that the heavy ball is exerting a gravitational pull on those tennis balls. In the larger context, the “space-time manifold” is like that mattress.
Suppose the extraterrestrial guys know how to MANIPULATE THE CURVATURE of space around them, then they could create negative curvature, which would result in negative gravity. In such a scenario the spacecraft will shoot out from it’s base WITHOUT any fuel like solar or nuclear energy. And when it has to be called back to its extraterrestrial base, just reverse the curvature, so it “effortlessly” starts falling towards it’s mother planet. No fuel required in either direction: just the play of curvature! Wah, wah!!
Only problem is, how to control the curvature of space. I am sure Mr Modi can help us with the answer. He’s the wisest man around, you see!
