Most residents of Jagdishpur in Amethi and Urwa in Rae Bareli say there's been no development since they were adopted by Rahul and Sonia Gandhi in late 2014.
BJP's Brijendra Singh is son of Union minister Birender Singh. Of his two rivals, JJP's Dushyant Chautala is Devi Lal's great-grandson and Bhavya Bishnoi is Bhajan Lal's grandson.
The response to BJP president Amit Shah’s roadshow in Amethi indicated that Congress chief Rahul Gandhi is facing a battle against union minister Smriti Irani.
The proposed amendment to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code aims to reduce timelines and provide for a mechanism that involves minimal interaction with the court. It fails on both counts.
Cooperation Ministry takes a step towards financial inclusion with Sahkar DigiPay and Sahkar DigiLoan. They will enable faster and seamless access to financial services in small towns.
Bihar is blessed with a land more fertile for revolutions than any in India. Why has it fallen so far behind then? Constant obsession with politics is at the root of its destruction.
One community leader and one political commentator’s opinions do not reflect the attitude of a whole community. The Muslim community of West Bengal are vastly different motives in voting preference like any other Indian. But in this election there is a new trend which shows that Hindu community voters of different political parties are now jointly backing the BJP to defeat TMC.
I think those who can/do read this article, would hardly be aligned to such mentality and level of this write up.
Why always categorizing people of this particular religion? Why not think about all the people of the country and their future?
You know, because of this pin-pointing and in trying to win the heart of the people following a particular religion, you all are ending up polarizing. And this is all the more why the rests are supporting the other party. That is anti-polarization. Now you don’t blame them for polarization, on top of this.
Will this not give rise to communal sentiments ? Such articles are a disgrace to journalism. Votes should be cast on individuality not because you are a muslim or hindu. Sick-ular media brainwashing at its best.
Coincidentally I am reading this article in Baroda, after having a Gujarati thali lunch. In this Hindu owned restaurant in Modi’s Gujarat, the waiter who served me is from West Bengal. The owner of the restaurant told me that the vast majority of his waiters are from West Bengal. And by the way, the name of my waiter was Sheikh Karimuddin. Obviously he has chosen to leave Bengal and work in Baroda on his free will. Every Muslim in India needs to decide what is right for him/ her and not get influenced by community leaders and pseudo secularists, who want to brainwash them.
What about crores of Bangladeshi infiltrators, who were supported by CPI(M) for coming in border districts and getting settled in India?
Why Sekhar did not touch this issue? This is a serious problem in Bengal!

This is what describes Shekhar Gupta’s favorite polarization breast beating pontification.
