New Delhi: The UEFA Champions League has announced the quarter-finals of its 2024 edition, with Manchester City facing Real Madrid in a highly anticipated match. The two teams will travel to Nyon, Switzerland on 9 and 10 April to compete in the semi-finals.
It will be the third consecutive time that the two teams will face each other in a knockout game. The 2022 game saw Manchester City stun Real Madrid before the latter turned the tide and secured a place for itself in the final against Liverpool.
The quarter-finals will also feature a number of other high-profile matches, including Arsenal facing Bayern Munich for the first time since 2017, Paris Saint Germain facing Barcelona for the first time since 2016, and Atletico Madrid facing Dortmund.
The UCL quarter-final stage is set to take place on 9 and 10 April, with the second leg featuring the final four teams on 16 and 17 April.
