New Delhi: Star French attacker Kylian Mbappe is to leave Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) at the end of the ongoing 2023-2024 Ligue 1 season, according to Sky Sports. The report noted that the 25-year-old marksman and left-winger of Paris Saint-Germain will join Real Madrid as part of a transfer deal, fulfilling his dream of playing for the Galacticos.

Mbappe’s current contract with Paris Saint-Germain runs through the summer, but the report noted that he will be out of contract in the summer. The report further stated that Mbappe had informed PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi about his decision to leave the club, but there have been no discussions yet on whether he will sacrifice his earnings or move to another club for a transfer fee.

Mbappe joined PSG from AS Monaco in 2017 and helped the club in 290 matches, scoring 243 goals. He was at the age of 19 when he left his childhood club for Paris. This season, he has played 19 matches in the Ligue 1 and scored 20 goals. He has also made four assists in the French league. Mbappe had previously said that he would never leave Paris Saint-Germain for free, but the current situation has given him a chance to fulfil his dream of playing for Real Madrid.

The Los Blancos have been trying to bring Mbappe to Madrid for several years, but he has consistently resisted. However, with the current offer of 220 million euros from Real Madrid, it seems that the star footballer is very close to joining the Galacticos.
