Mumbai, Jun 5 (PTI) India batter Shreyas Iyer on Friday joined Kabuni as a super coach ahead of the AI-powered sports technology platform’s launch.
Former cricketers Sourav Ganguly, AB de Villiers and Shane Watson are the other super coaches on the platform which aims to provide opportunities for schools, parents and aspiring cricketers.
Its nation-wide tournament named “Want to play for a legend?” is open to cricketers between the age of 12 and 16 and will be held this month.
“Kabuni tracks player movement and ball data in real time, translating it into practical, personalised feedback delivered through voice, video and visual guidance. The platform is built around a “1% improvement” philosophy — incremental adjustments that compound into meaningful development over time,” the organisers said in a release.
“Leveraging biomechanics and motion tracking, it is designed to make the kind of coaching previously available only at elite level accessible to players at every stage of the game,” it added. PTI DDV PDS
