Vladivostok: Russian President Vladimir Putin, asked on Tuesday about a ban on Russian athletes taking part in the 2024 Paris summer Olympics, said the Olympic movement was “degrading” and that Moscow would defend its athletes’ interests.

Putin was speaking at a forum in Russia’s far eastern city of Vladivostok.
