PARIS (Reuters) – South Africa’s Tatjana Smith won the women’s 100 metres breaststroke gold at the Paris Olympics on Monday, adding to the 200m title she won at Tokyo 2021 under her maiden name of Schoenmaker.

China’s world champion Tang Qianting took the silver medal and Ireland’s Mona McSharry the bronze.
