Can newly elected MP will ensure in bringing some discipline for some basic common public problems like :-
1) Spitting on roads.
2) Driving on wrong side. Traffic police should be exclusively made responsible for traffic control and should not be used for raising the funds for govt. There is separate revenue department for it .
3) Tapori guys creating rukus on road with triple seat driving where in even cops are afraid to stop /speak to them .
4) Throwing garbage on road.
5) Consult citizens to take their views before digging roads unnecessarily as good tar roads are digged out and cement roads are made just to generate the tenders for the benefit of the contractors and some corporators.
6) Desi liquor shops to be shut located in good locality area like kothroud DP or even near to school ( Shinde high school, sahakarnagar) .
7) designated cycle tracks across the city .
8) bring electric cycle on rent .
6) mukti from Mathadi ( labour) who demand extortion for doing nothing .
7) Once the property is purchased and sale deed is done in registrar’s office then automatically it should get updated in mseb. mngl, corporation and other departments and citizens should not be made to travel from post to piller.
8) Development of slums (Zopadpatti) , as it not only creates civic problems but also creates nuisance for nearby residents who are paying all taxes sincerely and want to live peacefully.
9) Proper parking places near the prominent market places. Shop owners should not be allowed to park their cars on the roads. They stay at outskirts and bring their cars in the morning keep them on the roads till night. This creates huge traffic problems.
10) One-ways should be decided with logically and not to just trap the vehicles. Not allowing two wheelers on the Lakadipool is the best example of illogical decision.
Hope newly elected MP will look into these sort of basic issues and try to get resolved the same….
Pune is one of the fast developing, high opportunities ,culturally devotional rich, safest city. Whichever MP wins from pune in 2019 general elections should prioritize working on below common city problems to make lives of citizens better (its my expectation & request to upcoming pune MP) :
1. 365*24 electricity & water availability
2. Stricter traffic control & rules execution by police, by charging heavy fines / no mercy on traffic violaters ( to create fear).so that wrong side driving / driving on pedestrian tracks/no helmet riders/ rash drivers are penalized heavily. Most Auto rickshaws drive recklessly like 2 whellers in pune( more discipline & police counselling needed) All rickshaw colours to be turned green yellow mandatorily (like in delhi), as black yellow is invisible in night.
3. Making city more clean & dirt free. More & more tree plantation to be made mandatory for companies,co-op societies
4. Unauthorized Road side hawkers sitting on pedestrian tracks should be all removed.
5. Remove BRTS completely, or put more wardens with stricter no pvt. vehicle entry in brts route.
6. Reduce registration of lesser 4 wheelers/ Cap minimum number of vehicles to a single family.
7. MP should make compulsory visit across wards in city to listen public grievances & feedbacks
Thanks
Abhishek Sen
Jai hind Jai Maharashtra
Inc candidate Mr Joshi in 10th pass and have 6 criminal cases against him.. BJP candidate Mr Bapat is graduate from Pune University and have one criminal cases against him.. Also in working style BJP candidate is much more ahead of INC candidate.. Vote wisely
Useless people
Mplads 12/13 % of 25 crores
Very sad for a smart city
Mplads 12_13% of 25 crores
Very sad
Anil shirole was of no use just 1 month after he was elected i had dropped him a mail with concerns near my locality and reply is still yet to come . Can girish bapat ensure in bringing some minor discipline for some basic common public problem
1) spitting on road
2) driving on wrong site
3) tapori guys creating rukus on road with trsiple seat driving fully drunk where in even cops are afraid to speak to them .
4) throwing garbage on road.
5) consult citizens take their permission before digging roads unnecessarily
6) Desi liquor shops to be shut in good locality area like kothroud DP road which again belongs to some politician .
7) designated cycle tracks across the city .
8) bring electric cycle on rent .
6) mukti from Mathadi ( labour) who demand extortion for doing nothing .
7) single window clearance for second sales flat. Once fat is purchased and sale dead in done in registrar’s office then automatically it should get updated in mseb. mngl, corporation and other govt organizations citizens should not be asked to travel to all these places.
8) Reservation to be abolished and given to financial weaker group.
What are the wrong reasons he is known for? Kindly enlighten everyone.
Let’s hope Girish Bapat fares better. Anil Shirole was a useless guy. But I don’t see any campaigning. Hope Rupee Coop Bank is resolved. Got money stuck up.
Guardian minister Girish Bapat who is constituting this Lok Sabha election has not solved problems of beleagured Rupee Cooperative Bank LTD.From 6 years issue is pending.Depositors are facing Loads of problems in day to day activity as it is harden money.so why we should vote
It s incorrect that MP is expected to solve the bank issue .
Sreeni – some good points made. The citizens need to engage with the leadership and take on the mammoth task of creating a sustainable solution to the city’s problems.
Bhavana – happy with current road status, really? Not saying its the worst, but the city’s roads do not compare at all to the roads in other metro cities in India. We definitely need better planning, especially development of major arterial roads and a ring road. The current solution of building speed breakers throughout the city for better road safety is in no way sustainable or scalable. And lets not even get started about the rampant breaking of traffic rules in Pune. The city is infamous for witnessing the highest number of incidents for jumping traffic light and wrong side driving in any city in India. Finally, Pune is probably the only city in the country where people unite against wearing a helmet while riding a two-wheeler, with even the MLA from the ruling party coming out in support of this ridiculous opposition.
Kamal – agree with you wholeheartedly, it is only when we change as a citizen and keep the city/state/country ahead of ‘I’ can we progress as a nation. Visit any developed country and one can understand why they are so far ahead.
The biggest question to the MP will be why such massive road developments have initiated now and not earlier. For a better future these developments are much required but the pace with which JM road and Karve road is going on its extremely depressing.
Though cycling tracks are being made in most of the major roads but you will find all un authorized parking and hawkers in those lane.
There is no public awareness campaign to promote cycling and create respect for cyclists on road to control pollution.
Public buses conditions are pathetic, don’t we have money to have world class public transport system.
In the above stats I can see entitlement money is not even utilised.
Lot off expectation but what is your contributions as a honest citizen. Every one want to break the rules for himself but when other do they feel problem. Every person want free or cheap item and also want investment to improve infrastructure how both can go together. First improve your self country will automatic progress.
Not really. HE IS KNOWN FOR ALL WRONG REASONS.
Happy with current road status but need much more improvement on hawkers who occupies footpath. Can not walk on newly made footpaths. More attention on traffic is much needed . People always break traffic rules . Need to improve and build more gardens. Pollution level is on very high risk.
Tree plantation is needed.
Pune has worsened under current MP. Traffic zero improvements .
Safety and such zero . Goondaism on the rise .no work is seen . Why we voted has seen no visible effect .
how long have you lived in Pune ?? Actually traffic rules come through people.. the people who are flooding in Pune from the villages have no driving etiquettes.. how can a MP solve this issue ??
Once elected voters ste just spectators. Can’t approach them for grievance redressal. Suggestions given are ignored . Very casual attitude not appreciated. Dont come to people for any interaction. Finally total.lsck of accountability.
Not interested in spending MPLAD funds usefully.
The current M P was conspicuous by absence. No see, no hear, no work. Clearly voters need a change. Really wish M Ps take their work seriously. After all it is tax payers’ money.
Pune is increasingly getting polluted and constrained for natural resources – fresh water, clean air, sanitation and waste management. It is increasingly coming under stress due to unplanned urbanisation.
Overexploitation of groundwater has increased. Greenery is reducing. Crime rate is increasing, especially women safety is a cause of worry.
Need leadership who can restore Pune’s glory by focusing on sustainability driven urbanisation, improving/managing infrastructure to ensure clean water, optimal waste management and enforcing laws apart from ensuring women safety.
Quite a tall task for the leaders. It would not be possible without the public’s participation.
Puneites with so much industry and service sector around and thus being exposed to relatively better quality of work life, need to engage with the political leadership and do their bit to restore the city’s sustainability.
Girish Bapat will have a better public presence as compared to current MP and he is more connected to ground. However any MP selected must show result on ground as expectations of public has increased.
The BJP MP regularly goes for a run and business and is very casual for the last 6months and hardly seen by voters. It was obvious he wouldn’t contest 2019 election. The new person who has filed nomination has zero chances. No one knows him outside his vidhan sabha constituency.
The new person who has filed nomination is Girish Bapat. He is cabinet minister in GOM & Gaurdian minister of Pune. Don’t spread wrong impression that nobody knows him outside his vidhansabha constituency. Every body who is a serious voter would knows him in entire district. Infact he was supposed to contest in 2014 only but missed out at last moment
Very true. He is known FOR ALL WRONG REASONS.
Exactly .. Girish Bapat is a known person and all people who have stayed in Pune have heard his name, He is known as a Karyakarta.
Most useless and greedy guy ever seen.. My personal experience
Kindly don’t make false comments. If you don’t know, don’t comment!
Not really. HE IS KNOWN FOR ALL WRONG REASONS.
