Amaravati, Jul 16 (PTI) YSRCP supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday launched the ‘Jagan 2.0 Super App’, describing it as a dedicated digital platform to connect every party worker directly with the leadership and enable them to express their views without fear.

The former CM said that the app had been launched at a time when content posted by YSRCP supporters on social media was allegedly being arbitrarily deleted and attempts were being made to suppress their voice through conspiracies.

“The party has created its own platform where every activist can freely express opinions and remain connected with the organisation. Since this is the party’s own app and will be used by its own cadre, no outside force will have the right to arbitrarily delete their content,” Jagan said addressing a press conference at YSRCP central office in Tadepalli.

According to the YSRCP chief, the application will connect every worker and leader, from the grassroots to the party central office and from the constituency level to the state level, enabling cadre to directly share public issues, instances of alleged police harassment against party workers and other organisational matters.

He said all party meetings, press conferences, important programmes and official announcements would be made available to every activist through live feeds on the application, ensuring constant communication within the organisation.

The YSRCP chief said the platform would be further developed to enable party workers facing difficulties to post their grievances on the app, allowing leaders and cadre from the village to the state level to respond and extend support.

Jagan said the digital diary currently used by the party to document alleged police harassment and political victimisation of YSRCP workers would also be integrated into the ‘Super App’, enabling activists to directly file complaints and record details through the platform.

He said the party would continue to challenge objectionable criticism, videos and comments against YSRCP on other social media platforms and seek their removal wherever necessary.

At the same time, the party had developed its own digital platform in a manner that could not be stopped by anyone and would ensure that every YSRCP worker remained continuously connected with the party leadership, Jagan added. PTI MS STH KH
