Ayodhya (UP), Jun 14 (PTI) A 75-year-old woman died on Sunday, just hours after her husband’s funeral at a village in Ayodhya, local residents said.

Bhagwan Tiwari (80), a resident of Revli village under the Khandasa police station area, died of age-related ailments early Sunday morning, they said.

His last rites were performed around 11 am in the presence of family members and villagers.

However, the grief-stricken family suffered another tragedy later that day when Tiwari’s wife Sachi Tiwari fell ill and passed away, according to villagers.

Residents said when Tiwari’s funeral procession left the house in the morning, no one could have imagined another procession would depart from the same home within a few hours.

Villagers recalled that the couple had spent decades together, supporting each other through happiness and hardship. They said even in their advanced age, they were inseparable. PTI CORR ABN ASD ASD ASD
