Jaipur, Sep 7 (PTI) Rainfall activity is likely to remain subdued across most parts of Rajasthan for around a week, the weather office said on Monday.
Rainfall is expected to decrease across most parts of the state from September 7, although light to moderate rain may occur at isolated places in Bharatpur, Jaipur and Kota divisions, according to the Jaipur Meteorological Centre.
Weak monsoon conditions are likely to prevail over most parts of Rajasthan for a week from September 8.
However, a fresh spell of rain is likely over eastern and southern parts of the state from September 12-13.
On the other hand, during the 24 hours ending Monday morning, light to moderate rain was recorded at some places in Alwar, Sikar, Jaipur, Deeg, Bharatpur, Dausa, Dholpur, Baran, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Jhalawar, Pratapgarh and Udaipur districts in eastern Rajasthan.
In western Rajasthan, light to moderate rainfall occurred at isolated places in Bikaner, Churu and Nagaur districts.
Rajakhera in Dholpur recorded the highest rainfall in the state at 58 mm during the period. PTI SDA ARB ARB
