New Delhi, Sep 7 (PTI) A van carrying nine schoolchildren overturned at Karkari Mor Flyover in Gagan Vihar area here on Monday, leaving two children injured, police said.

Police Station Jagatpuri received a PCR call regarding the incident around 12:25 pm, after which police personnel rushed to the spot.

Police said a van carrying school students overturned while crossing the flyover in east Delhi.

Two injured children were taken for medical examination at Dr Hedgewar Hospital and Kailash Deepak Hospital, respectively. Their condition was not immediately known.

Police identified the van driver as Harsh, a resident of Shahdara.

Police said they registered an FIR at Police Station Jagatpuri under relevant provisions of law and further investigation is underway. PTI BM ASD ASD
