Barabanki (UP), May 15 (PTI) Two labourers died and another person was injured when a tree fell on a tractor-trolley amid strong winds here on the Bhelsar road, police said on Friday.
According to the police, four people were returning to their village from Tikaitnagar carrying shuttering material.
Around 9 pm on Thursday night, near the Maidipur turn, a dry sheesham tree on the side of the road suddenly crashed on the trolley.
Vikas Rawat (32) and Maikulal (55) sustained critical injuries in the accident. Both were rushed to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Tikaitnagar, where doctors pronounced them as dead. Tractor driver, Mangal, sustained minor injuries, while the two other individuals riding on the trolley escaped unhurt.
