Lucknow, Jul 28 (PTI) The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday transferred 15 IPS officers, including police Commissioners of Lucknow and Prayagraj, an official statement issued here said.
Lucknow Commissioner of Police (CP), Amrendra K Sengar, has been appointed DGP, Intelligence, with additional charge of DGP, Security, while ADG Security, Tarun Gaba, has been appointed new police CP Lucknow.
Prayagraj CP Jogendra Kumar has been shifted to Moradabad PAC as IG, while Piyush Mordia has been moved from ADG, Varanasi Zone and will be the new CP, Prayagraj.
IG, Anti-Corruption Organisation Anand Sureshrao Kulkarni (2008 batch) has been made Secretary (Home), UP; M Ashok Jain, ADG, Gorakhpur Zone, has been posted as DG, Fire and Emergency Services, Police Headquarters, Lucknow, Ram Kumar has been shifted from ADG, Logistics, Police Headquarters, Lucknow, to ADG, Gorakhpur Zone, replacing Jain, it said.
While Naveen Arora has been transferred from ADG, Technical Services, Police Headquarters, to ADG, Varanasi Zone, Bhagwan Swaroop Srivastava has been transferred from ADG, Intelligence to ADG, Technical Services, Dr Sanjeev Gupta has been given additional charge of ADG, Logistics, while continuing as ADG, Police Headquarters.

Similarly, Vinod Kumar Singh has been transferred from IG, Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Police Academy, Moradabad, to IG, Special Investigation.
