Gorakhpur, Jun 14 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister on Sunday said the government stands with the needy and will ensure that every genuine grievance is addressed.

He was addressing the nearly 200 people from various districts of the state who attended the ‘Janata Darshan’ programme held outside Digvijay Nath Smriti Bhawan in the Gorakhnath temple complex here.

According to an official statement, Adityanath listened to the grievances of each petitioner and directed officials concerned to ensure their proper redressal. “The government stands with the needy and will ensure that every genuine grievance is addressed,” the chief minister said.

Referring the complaints to administrative and police authorities, he instructed them that all issues be resolved impartially and within a stipulated timeframe.

Taking a stern view of complaints related to police and revenue matters, Adityanath directed district officials to ensure prompt action and warned against any negligence in the disposal of revenue-related cases.

He said laxity or carelessness at any level would not be tolerated and stressed that justice must be delivered to aggrieved persons within the prescribed time limit.

The chief minister also interacted with people seeking financial assistance for medical treatment. He told them to focus on the health of their family members and assured them that the government would extend support for treatment.

Adityanath said eligible beneficiaries would be provided Ayushman cards and financial assistance from the discretionary fund, where required.

He also directed officials to ensure that every eligible and needy person is covered under the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme, the statement said. PTI CDN PRK
