Patna, Sep 12 (PTI) Union minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh has urged the Bihar government to lodge a complaint over a letter allegedly issued in his name and addressed to the state’s dairy development minister, terming it “completely forged”.
In a communication to the secretary of the Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department, Singh said that a “forged letter addressed to the state’s Dairy Development Minister” had come to his notice.
The Munger MP asserted that the letter carried a forged signature, and he had neither written it nor aware of its contents.
He alleged that someone had forged the letter with his signature for personal interests.
The Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying and Panchayati Raj urged the department secretary to lodge an FIR, conduct an investigation and take action against the culprit.
Department officials could not be contacted for comments. PTI PKD RBT
