Jaipur, Jul 2 (PTI) Two women were killed and 13 others injured in Bharatpur district here on Thursday after a tractor-trolley carrying 15 farm workers overturned when the driver swerved to avoid hitting an animal, police said.
Station House Officer Dhirendra said the women were travelling to agricultural fields in Raipur village in the Weir police station area for farm work when an animal suddenly came in front of the tractor.
He said in an attempt to avoid it, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing the tractor-trolley to overturn into a roadside ditch.
Police said the deceased were identified as Mithlesh (45) and Dhauri (35), and 12 injured people are undergoing treatment at a hospital, while one woman was discharged and returned home. PTI SDA ASD ASD
