Sonbhadra (UP), Jun 2 (PTI) Two teenagers drowned while bathing in a river in Uttar Pradesh’s Sonbhadra district on Tuesday afternoon, and a search operation has been launched to trace them, police said.

The incident took place near Harra village under the Kon police station limits.

Station House Officer Akhilesh Mishra said Pawan Kumar Nishad (14), son of Mukhlal Nishad and a resident of Naikaha village, and Krishna Nishad (13), son of Arvind Nishad and a resident of Rogahi in Harra, had gone to bathe in Son river along with around a dozen children of their age.
