Two killed in road accident in Jharkhand’s Palamu

Medininagar, May 13 (PT) Two persons were killed when a vehicle hit their two-wheeler in Jharkhand’s Palamu district on Wednesday, a police officer said.

The two were returning home after attending a marriage ceremony of a relative in Latheya village when an unidentified vehicle hit their two-wheeler near Madanpur village, Officer-in-Charge of Chatarpur police station Prasant Prasad said.

The victims were identified as 22-year-old Kishan Kumar and Anuj Kumar (29), who was a resident of Garwah district.

Both suffered serious injuries following the accident.

On being informed about the incident, a police team rushed to the spot and shifted them to Medinirai Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared them dead.
