Tirupati, Jul 15 (PTI) Two Hyderabad-based devotees on Wednesday donated Rs 2 crore to TTD’s SBAVPS, the temple authorities said.
Sri Balaji Arogya Vara Prasadini Scheme (SBAVPS) aims to make cutting edge medical technology available to every individual at an affordable rate.
“Hyderabad-based Jagadish and P Manik Reddy donated Rs 1 crore each to TTD’s Sri Balaji Arogya Vara Prasadini Scheme,” an official release from the temple body said.
SBAVPS was introduced by Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), a sophisticated super specialty centre launched by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) in 1993 on the lines of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AllMS) New Delhi, JIPMER, Pondichery and PGIMER, Chandigarh.
