Tripura govt transfers 4 IPS, 44 TPS officers

Agartala, Jul 17 (PTI)The state government has transferred four Indian Police Service (IPS) officers and 43 Tripura Police Service (TPS) officers, an official notification said.

Sudhambika R, IPS, the SP of Unakoti district has been transferred and made the new SP, Cyber Crime, replacing Nabadwip Jamatia, IPS, who is posted as Commandant of TSR 15th battalion, the notification issued by the General Administration (GA) department on Thursday said.

Sankar Debnath, IPS, will be the new SP of Economic Offences while Priyamadhuri Majumder is the new SP, Vigilance Organisation, replacing Jeremia Darlong.

Darlong has been made Commandant, Counter Insurgency Anti Terrorists (CIAT) School in Dhalai district.

Kishan Kumar, who was the head of CIAT School in Dhalai district, has been posted as SP, SCRB (State Crime Record Bureau), while Chandan Saha, the Additional SP of Special Branch, has been given additional charge of SP, Mobile Task Force (MTF), which works for detention of illegal infiltrators.

Pannalal Sen is the new SDPO, Sadar subdivision, who will look after the policing system in Agartala city, replacing Debaprasad Roy, the notification added. PTI PS RG
