Gurugram, Oct 21 (PTI) A one-and-a-half-year-old baby has died after falling into a water tank outside his house in Sadhrana village here, police said on Wednesday.
The deceased, identified as Himanshu, a resident of the village, was playing outside his house on Tuesday when he wandered towards a water tank and accidentally fell into it, police said.
The family members did not notice his absence for some time.
Police said when they found him in the tank, they rushed him to a private hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
A senior police officer said the child’s body was handed over to the family after a post-mortem examination.
