TN govt transfers 3 IPS officers, Arun posted to Vigilance dept

Chennai, May 25 (PTI) The Tamil Nadu government on Monday ordered the transfer of three senior IPS officers, including the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) for Law and Order.

According to an official order issued by the Home (SC) Department, Maheshwar Dayal, who was serving as the ADGP, Law & Order, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Administration, Chennai.

This appointment is made by downgrading the existing vacant post of Director General of Police (DGP), Administration, Chennai.

A Arun, now on compulsory wait, is the new ADGP, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption.

T S Anbu has been appointed as ADGP , Law and Order.
