Jaipur, Aug 11 (PTI) Three members of a family, including a father and his son, were killed when their car collided with a truck in Rajasthan’s Dholpur district on Tuesday, police said.
The accident occurred near the Bhagirathpura turn under the Sadar police station limits on the Dholpur-Bharatpur highway, they said.
The deceased were identified as Rajkumar Jain (50), his nephew Vijay (45), and Vijay’s son Aadi (15), police said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Krishnaraj Jangid said the three were returning after visiting a Jain temple in Padampura when the accident occurred.
The collision was so severe that the front portion of the car became wedged into the truck. Police, with the help of locals, separated the car from the truck and pulled out the three occupants.
They were taken to a hospital where doctors declared them dead, the police said. PTI AG KSI KSI
