Hingoli, Sep 13 (PTI) Two minor sisters and another girl went missing from Basmat in Maharashtra’s Hingoli district, a police official said on Sunday.
The girls, who live in Samirnagar and Budhwar Peth areas, are untraceable after leaving their homes at around 11am on Saturday, he added.
“When the girls did not return till evening, their families initially looked for them at their relatives’ homes. Later, the father of one of the girls approached Basmat police,” the official said.
Based on the father’s complaint, a kidnapping case was registered against an unidentified person. The probe is being led by Inspector Sudhir Wagh, he added.
It is the second incident of girls going missing in Basmat tehsil within a week. PTI COR BNM
