Hyderabad, Aug 7 (PTI) The Telangana government on Friday asked managements of private schools to display the class-wise details of fees being charged for 2026-27 in the school notice board and also in the websites of the institution and education department.
State Director of School Education E Naveen Nicolas said department officials were requested to issue instructions to all private unaided schools under their control to display the details of the fee in the school notice board, its school website and also in the “schooledu.telangana.gov.in” portal.
The Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers were informed that a provision has been made in the “schooledu.telangana.gov.in” for enabling the managements of private schools to upload their fee structure, he said in a release.
The supporting documents for fixing the class-wise fee for the year 2026-27 should also be uploaded, with the signatures of members of the governing body of the school, as elaborated in relevant rules of a Government Order (GO) issued in 1994, he said.
The officials were also instructed to issue Show Cause notice to the schools that don’t display the fee structure in the notice board and in the school website and take action on the school as per the provisions of the GO. PTI SJR SJR SA
