Jaipur, Apr 18 (PTI) The soaring temperatures across Rajasthan showed no signs of abating on Saturday, with several parts of the state recording above-normal day temperatures.
Churu was the hottest place in the state, recording a maximum temperature of 42.8 degrees Celsius, which was 3.1 degrees above normal.
Chittorgarh recorded 42.6 degrees Celsius, followed by Barmer and Kota at 42.2 degrees Celsius each. Vanasthali in Tonk recorded 42.1 degrees Celsius, while Alwar registered 41.6 degrees Celsius.
Jodhpur and Phalodi recorded 41.4 degrees Celsius each, Bikaner 41 degrees Celsius and Jaipur 40.8 degrees Celsius. Other parts of the state recorded temperatures between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius.
