Teen stabbed to death after being called out of home in northeast Delhi

New Delhi, Jul 29 (PTI) A 17-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed to death after being called out of his house by a group of youths in northeast Delhi’s New Kardampuri, police said on Wednesday.

According to the victim’s family, he was called out of his house by the accused on Tuesday evening. Soon after reaching the spot, he was allegedly attacked repeatedly with knives.

Local residents rushed him to a hospital near Azad Chowk, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The victim’s father works as an auto rickshaw driver, he was the only son of his parents and is survived by two sisters, a senior police officer said.

Police reached the spot after receiving information, and sent the body for post-mortem examination.

A senior police officer said CCTV footage from the area is being examined and multiple teams have been formed to identify and apprehend the accused.
