Visakhapatnam, Aug 18 (PTI) BJP National President Nitin Nabin on Tuesday called on the saffron party cadres to take the party to every village and booth in Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing a party meeting here, Nabin set the future action plan for BJP in the southern state, calling on the cadres to “take BJP to every village and booth. Always mingle with people and win their faith by extending welfare services,” he said.

State president of the party, PVN Madhav, was present.

Instructing party activists to work towards the construction of a Viksit Bharat (developed India) by 2047, the BJP president said the massive victory given to NDA by Andhra Pradesh people should be turned into a platform for development and public service.

Reminding that the sweeping 21 out of 25 MP seats and 164 out of 175 Assembly seats during the 2024 polls was no mean feat, Nabin said this triumph should not only give pride but make you uphold the faith reposed by people.

According to the BJP leader, the alliance of BJP, TDP and Jana Sena has ushered in a new chapter of development in Andhra Pradesh.

Further, he called on BJP cadres to take the welfare and development programmes of the state and the Centre to people.

Nabin underscored that BJP was not formed just to attain political power, but noted that its foundational principles included sacrifice, the nation-first approach, etc.

He underlined that the Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not limited to laying foundation stones for projects but completing and inaugurating them.

Nabin listed Bhogapuram Airport, Amaravati development, Raipur — Visakhapatnam greenfield expressway and others as such initiatives.

Moreover, he highlighted that the future of India lay in the hands of the youth and called on them not to settle for jobs but to strive to emerge as job-creating industrialists. PTI STH ADB

Nine Years, Made Possible by Readers

In 2017, Shekhar Gupta started ThePrint with a simple belief: Indian readers want journalism that asks why and what next, not just what. And that enough of them would be willing to pay for good journalism.

Nine years on, that belief has held.

And, in these nine years, we’ve stayed true to our mission. We’ve been asking the follow-up questions, going beyond the headlines and explaining what’s actually happening. We’ve travelled across the country to bring you in-depth, visually-compelling stories from the ground.

It’s been nine years of readers choosing to make this possible. If you’d like to be one of them:
