New Delhi, Sep 12 (PTI) Stones were allegedly pelted at two houses and vehicles in northeast Delhi’s Nand Nagri area, damaging the windscreen of a car and two to three scooters, following a family dispute, police said on Saturday.
The incident took place around 9:30 pm on Friday in Amba Chaat Colony, following which information was received at Nand Nagri police station at 9:45 pm, they said.
Police said the complainant, Rita, 45, told them that Sajan alias Kali, Allu alias Bharat, Rohan and Parveen, who are allegedly the son and grandsons of her husband’s maternal aunt, Mita, came in front of her house and started pelting stones.
The windscreen of a car was damaged in the incident, while stones were also allegedly thrown towards the house, police said.
During verification, police found that another house belonging to a distant relative of the complainant in the same area was also targeted with stones.
Two to three scooters were also slightly damaged, they said.
No person was injured in the incident, police said.
Forensic teams inspected the spot and collected relevant evidence, while CCTV footage from the area is being analysed to ascertain the involvement of the persons allegedly behind the incident.
Police said no firing was seen in the CCTV footage analysed so far.
An FIR on September 12 has been registered at Nand Nagri police station under relevant sections the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act.
