SP-Cong ‘makeshift coalition’ in for rude shock in 2027 UP polls: Naqvi

Hapur (UP), May 16 (PTI) Slamming the Congress and the Samajwadi Party, senior BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Saturday said the arrogance of the “feudal syndicate” is repeatedly suffering electoral setbacks, and they are in for a “rude shock” as they will yet again fail to garner public mandate when Uttar Pradesh goes to polls next year.

The former Union minister also said the nationalist resolve and dedication of crores of diligent BJP workers have transformed the party into a global brand of good governance and inclusive empowerment.

The BJP’s immense popularity and widespread acceptance have completely swept away the “mischievous legacy and conspiratorial politics of the anti-BJP cartel”, Naqvi claimed while addressing the inaugural session of the two-day Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahaabhiyan here.

In a scathing attack on the opposition, Naqvi said that by sidelining decades of politics driven by communal polarisation, a new era of inclusive empowerment has pierced through the strongholds of the “power-hungry chieftains”.

It has delivered a powerful lesson and message that the nation’s priority is inclusive empowerment and not communal appeasement, Naqvi said.

The country is effectively dismantling and driving out those who engage in communal appeasement, he claimed.

“The unruly hit-and-run rhetoric-mongers, who are engaged in a feudal lynching of constitutional institutions and malicious, prejudiced propaganda against democratic values and the popular mandate, must abandon their obsession with a deliberate design to denigrate democracy. They must introspect to understand why the public is repeatedly shattering their feudal arrogance,” Naqvi said.

“By removing all international turmoil and domestic obstacles of political intolerance and anarchy, the BJP and the Central government led by Narendra Modi are relentlessly setting new records of victory,” he added.

Naqvi also claimed that the Congress has turned into a “laboratory of losers”, and its “vote theft rhetoric” is falling flat among the public.

“Their obsession to hold democracy hostage to a dynasty was demolished in the elections in West Bengal and Assam; it is destined to be similarly routed in the upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh and other states,” he said.

Today, the BJP and its allies have unfurled the flag of good governance across 22 states, Naqvi said, adding that India is currently experiencing an “Amrit Kaal” of good governance.

Hitting out at the Congress and the Samajwadi Party, Naqvi said the “arrogance” of the “feudal syndicate” is repeatedly suffering setbacks on the electoral battlefield.

“These people are in for a rude shock when Uttar Pradesh goes to the polls in 2027. Their makeshift coalition will fail to garner public mandate,” he claimed.

Naqvi also appealed to the BJP workers to meticulously prepare at every level – from the polling booth up to the ‘Shakti Kendra’ – for the upcoming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.

On a different note, the BJP leader said the world is currently passing through a major global crisis, wherein the big economic powers are facing financial distress and recession.

“Throughout this months-long global crisis, the Central government, under Narendra Modi, has demonstrated prudence and sensitivity, undertaking effective measures to mitigate its adverse impact on India,” he said.

“Today, through restraint, vigilance, caution and wisdom, we, as a society, must join hands with the government to become an integral part of the solution to this crisis; we must foster an atmosphere of trust within the country, rather than one of fear and confusion,” Naqvi said.

The vice-chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh State Commission for Backward Classes, Surya Prakash Pal, state BJP vice-president Satpal Saini, Zila Panchayat chairman Rekha Nagar, among others, attended the event. PTI ASK ARI
