Pune, Aug 6 (PTI) Social media influencer and former sarpanch of Karegaon village in Pune district, Nirmala Nawale, has been appointed as state president of the Nationalist Yuvati Congress Party, the women’s cell of the NCP’s youth wing.
The appointment letter was handed over to her by party chief and Maharashtra deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar in Mumbai on Thursday.
Nawale had suffered a defeat in the Panchayat Samiti election earlier this year.
