Jaipur, Jul 6 (PTI) Several parts of Rajasthan received light to moderate showers in the past 24 hours, with Salumbar in Udaipur district recording the highest rainfall at 6 cm, the weather department said on Sunday.
In eastern Rajasthan, Sangod in Kota recorded 5 cm rainfall, while Chauth Ka Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Bakani and Jhalrapatan in Jhalawar district received 3 cm each.
Aspur in Dungarpur, Pipalda in Kota, Jagpur in Banswara, and Dungla in Chittorgarh recorded 2 cm of rainfall each, while Arnod in Pratapgarh, Pindwara in Sirohi, Bagidora in Banswara, and Aklera in Jhalawar received 1 cm of rainfall.
In western Rajasthan, Jodhpur tehsil recorded 5 cm rainfall, followed by Gudamalani in Barmer with 4 cm. Sanchore in Jalore, Gadraroad in Barmer and Rohat in Pali received 3 cm rainfall each.
Khimsar in Nagaur, Dhorimanna in Barmer and Bhadra in Hanumangarh recorded 2 cm rainfall, while Shergarh in Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Makrana in Nagaur and Ratanagarh in Churu received 1 cm rainfall.
