Jaipur, Jun 11 (PTI) The Rajasthan government will organise “Urban Service Camps 2026” across urban areas of the state from June 12 to July 15 to ensure quick and effective resolution of citizens’ grievances, officials said on Thursday.
According to an official statement, a range of civic services will be provided at the camps, including issuance of land leases (patta), repair of roads and drains, and registration of birth, death and marriage certificates.
Preparations for the initiative were reviewed at a state-level meeting held via video conference by Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Development and Housing, Alok Gupta, and Principal Secretary, Local Self Government Department, Ravi Jain.
Gupta directed officials to ensure that all applications received during the camp are resolved within the campaign period itself in a time-bound manner. He also said that special concessions in various fees will be offered during the camps.
Jain said that the camps will be organised in every urban local body and development authority across Rajasthan in line with the state government’s objective of improving service delivery and grievance redressal. PTI AG MDO MDO
