Nashik (Maharashtra), Sep 3 (PTI) Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray on Thursday said that he has nothing to do with the Disha Salian death case and need not comment on the Bombay High Court ordering a CBI probe into the matter.
The High Court on Wednesday pulled up Mumbai Police for failing to register a First Information Report in the case even after six years, observing that their probe raised more questions than answers. The court ordered the Central probe agency to conduct an investigation.
To a reporter’s question here, Thackeray, a former Maharashtra minister, said, “It is something I have nothing to do with, and have not even thought about. Why should I even respond to this?” Salian, who had briefly worked as manager of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, died on June 8, 2020, after falling off the 12th floor of a residential building in Mumbai’s Malad area. The police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) in the case.
