Chennai, Aug 29 (PTI) A well known granite businessman of Tamil Nadu, an octogenarian, has been arrested for “sexually abusing” a 13-year old girl here, police said on Saturday.
The accused, identified as R Veeramani, running a granite business, allegedly sexually abused the minor girl — a domestic help– at a guest house here, they said adding he has been booked under the provisions of POCSO Act.
A man and his wife, said to be his associates, have also been arrested in this connection.
The three were produced before a court which remanded them to judicial custody, they added. PTI VGN ROH
