Raipur, Nov 7 (PTI) BJP national president Nitin Nabin will attend the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas celebrations to be held in Dharamjaigarh in Chhattisgarh’s Raigarh district on November 15, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said on Saturday.
The birth anniversary of tribal freedom fighter Bhagwan Birsa Munda is observed as Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas across the country.
“This year, BJP national president Nitin Nabin will participate in the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas celebrations. The event will be organised in Dharamjaigarh in Raigarh district,” Sai told reporters here before leaving for his home district Jashpur to celebrate Diwali.
Sai said he would spend two days in Jashpur and celebrate the festival with his family members and party workers from the district and his Assembly constituency Kunkuri.
He also extended greetings to the people of Chhattisgarh for Diwali, Govardhan Puja, and Chhath Puja. “May the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi remain upon Chhattisgarh and bring happiness, prosperity and well-being to every household,” he said. PTI TKP BNM
