Gurugram, Jun 27 (PTI) A team of the Manesar Municipal Corporation demolished an illegal ready-mix concrete plant on Naurangpur Road using a bulldozer, saying it was operating without required permissions, officials said on Saturday.
District Town Planner (DTP)Rajendra Sharma said the SBJ ready-mix concrete (RMC) plant, spread over nearly four acres, was functioning without authorisation.
He said more that 30 such illegal RMC plants had been identified within the municipal limits and action would be taken against all of them.
“The drive against illegal construction and establishments operating without permission in the municipal area will continue. We appealed to the general public to obtain the necessary permissions from the concerned department before commencing any construction. Strict action will be taken without discrimination against those who disregard the rules,” said DTP Sharma. PTI COR MDO MDO
