Kochi, Jun 16 (PTI) Two people were injured after a person threw a petrol filled bottle at a Kerala State Beverages Corporation (Bevco) outlet near Ravipuram here on Friday following a quarrel with the staff, police said.

The search is on for an Ernakulam resident who threw the bottle while his accomplice, Sonu Kumar (25), was taken into custody, they said.

The duo allegedly misbehaved with a female employee of the outlet, which led to a quarrel with the staff, following which police were alerted.

“Police took Kumar into custody while the other person got away. Later, he came and threw the beer bottle filled with petrol, injuring two persons,” a police official told PTI.

A staff of the outlet and a customer suffered minor injuries from the glass shards of the bottle, they added. PTI RRT RRT ROH
