Jaipur, May 1 (PTI) Parts of Rajasthan, including Jaipur, received light rainfall under the influence of a western disturbance, bringing partial relief from intense heat, the weather office said on Friday.
Scattered thunderstorms with gusty winds and light showers were recorded in several areas during the past 24 hours, with Chhabra in Baran district receiving 18 mm rainfall, the highest in the state.
Officials said dust storms and rain activity have led to a slight dip in maximum temperatures, which are currently hovering between 41 and 43 degrees Celsius.
The department has forecast similar weather conditions over the next two to three days, with the possibility of strong winds and light to moderate rainfall in some areas due to another western disturbance and easterly winds from the Bay of Bengal.PTI AG MDO MDO DV DV
