Kolkata, Aug 7 (PTI) Metro services on Kolkata’s Blue Line were disrupted for around an hour on Friday evening following a suicide bid at the Rabindra Sarobar station, officials said.

The incident took place at 7.57 pm, following which Metro Railway operated truncated services between Maidan and Dakshineswar stations in both directions.

As a result, train services on the southern section of the Blue Line remained suspended during the period.

Metro Railway later said normal services on the entire Blue Line corridor were restored at 9.02 pm.

Details about the person involved in the incident were not immediately available. PTI SUS MNB
