New Delhi: The governments of India and Cambodia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of human resource development in civil service.
Under the MoU, the two countries will facilitate exchange visits focused on administrative reforms, good governance webinars, institutional exchanges, and capacity-building programmes.
The signing ceremony was held in Phnom Penh on 22 April 2024. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service of Cambodia Hun Many and the Ambassador of India to Cambodia Devyani Khobragade attended the signing.
The agreement also aims to facilitate a dialogue between the personnel administration agencies of India and the agencies of the civil service ministry of Cambodia.
The government of India has committed to implementing all the provisions of the agreement in a time-bound manner.
