Chandigarh, Jul 4 (PTI) Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday said Haryana is rapidly emerging as a leading hub for businesses, startups and innovation.

Addressing the national conference for CA students, ‘Pragyaan 2026’, in Panchkula, Saini said all possible measures are being taken to improve the ease of doing business and open up a vast horizon of opportunities for the youth.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is on the path to becoming the world’s third-largest economy, he said, Record GST collections every month symbolise the country’s growing economic strength, the chief minister said.

Saini said the chartered accountants (CAs) have made a significant contribution to strengthening the tax system, which is vital to realising PM Modi’s vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’.

Addressing the CA students, he said the blueprint and foundation of a developed India’s economic structure will be shaped by young professionals like them.

Saini said chartered accountancy was a rigorous academic and professional journey that demands dedication, perseverance, and unwavering commitment.

He told the students who have come from various states of the country that Haryana is rapidly emerging as a major hub for new businesses and startups.

All possible measures are being taken here to ease the process of doing business and open up a vast horizon of opportunities for young people like them, he said.

The chief minister said that the world of technology is evolving rapidly, with artificial intelligence (AI) emerging as a major topic of discussion across sectors.

Saini said that while some people fear that AI may pose a threat to the jobs of chartered accountants, he said he firmly believes that no AI system or computer software can ever replace human judgment, experience, and decision-making ability.

Technology, he said, can make tasks easier and process data more efficiently, but it cannot replicate a professional’s ethics, integrity, or human perspective.

Saini said the ‘Pragyaan 2026’ conference would provide participants with valuable opportunities through inspiring addresses by eminent speakers, student presentations, insightful discussions, networking sessions, and cultural programmes. PTI SUN SKY SKY
