Chandigarh, Sep 18 (PTI) Haryana Congress affairs in-charge Sanjay Dutt on Friday called upon party workers to strengthen the organisation up to the booth level and maintain continuous dialogue with people from all sections of society.
Dutt said that the stronger and more active the Congress organisation is, the more effectively it will be able to raise the voice of the people.
He said that organisational responsibility must go hand in hand with accountability, and every worker should perform his or her role with full commitment and active participation.
Dutt, along with Haryana Congress president Rao Narender Singh and Sirsa MP Kumari Selja, attended the Block Congress Committee conference held in Assandh in Karnal district on Friday.
The conference was organised under the leadership of Assandh Block Congress Committee president Jitender Chopra. Senior party leaders emphasised the need to further strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level, activate party workers and raise issues concerning the people with greater force.
